The 30-year-old former Redskins offensive coordinator turns 31 on January 24, making him the youngest head coach in modern NFL history. NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reports the Chicago Bears "are moving on" from quarterback Jay Cutler this offseason.
La Canfora believes that Chicago will heavily pursue Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo after they officially part ways with Cutler.
They would likely offer a trade to New England involving draft picks in exchange for their backup signal caller. However, Garoppolo's market is expected to be healthy as he'll have a number of teams calling on his services - the Browns and 49ers are in the mix.
For Cutler, he could make his way to New York (Jets) and reunite with Matt Forte in 2017.
