U principu, Džajanci imaju manje šanse da uđu u PO od Indijanaca i Orlova. Cenim da će Minesota da im zakuca ekser u sanduk ove sezone, a Vašington i Fila će da igraju za PO. Ako suspenduju Bekama pre vikenda, onda je scenario skoro 100% izvestan.

Pa realno ocekivano kad vidis kako se raspadamo u drugom delu sezone, i prosle i ove. Prosle godine 9-3 i pregrst utakmica kuci i ne udjes u PO, ove godine te guze i kurta i murta gde svi postizu 50ak poena, tu smo neke rekorde poobarali. Dobio je svu mogucu kontrolu i ok je pokusati sa nekim promenama, ali sve izvrnuti naopacke i to uglavnom ono sto je valjalo, nema sanse da radi. Raspustio dobar deo OL, sve krsteno na WR, a potpsisao eeej Riley Coopera, ove sezone Miles Austina i da ne nabrajam, na LB takodje svasta, DeMeco je dobio dobrane pare, Kiko iz povrede ocaj, Shady ne pominjati i uzimanje DeMarca koji je nam sluzi kao 3. RB... Bradford je tu cak i najlogicniji potez bio.

I tako dalje, i tako dalje, moze se narajati joh ihaj.

Ako se ovo stvarno ostvari onda smo ga bukvalno oterali. Po meni jedino logično objašnjenje je da on nije pristao na neke promene (da otpusti gomilu nesposobnih asistenata, pre svega pozicionih trenera u odbrani) pa su rešili da nastave dalje bez njega. Sa Pejtonom nikad nećemo imati dobru odbranu. Tu ne pomaže ni novi koordinator jer Pejton ne dozvoljava da ovaj dovede svoje ljude.

Što se tiče Breesa najpametnije bi bilo da se uradi produženje ugovora. Manji cap hit, veliki signing bonus...

I onaj njihov GM takodje,a vamo su pricali da je njihova razmirica bila glavni krivac (pored Luckove povrede) za los rezultat.

Diskutabilno. Nisam ih bas pratio, ali sam uvek imao utisak da im se napad sastoji od toga da pred kraj utakmice Luck pocne da baca loptu pa sta bude. Niti su imali neke okosnice i principe u napadu niti u odbrani.

Kao da im je Luck jedini identitet kojeg imaju.

Imaju samo Laka i to je to. OL im je bas krs, i sve sto napad uradi je samo na Laku, trcanje nemaju, imaju solidne WR TY, Monkrif, sad je tu Andre i Dorset, uz Alena i Flinera na TE koji bas i nije pokazao bas nesto mnogo.
Eksperiment sa 3-4 odbranom bas im i nije trebao. Da nema Matisa i one dve stoke na CB bili bi veliki Qrac.

OL im je krš već godinama, bilo je pitanje vremena kada će neko da skrši Lucka. Fizički a izgleda i psihički.

Browns hire former MLB GM Paul DePodesta

Two days after hiring a non-football person to run their football operation, the Browns have hired another executive who’s never worked in the NFL.

Paul DePodesta — he was the model for the Johah Hill character in the movie Moneyball — has been hired as chief strategy officer. Per Joel Sherman of the New York Post, DePodesta will fit in the organizational structure behind only team owner Jimmy Haslam and team president Alec Scheiner.

After firing head coach Mike Pettine and general manager Ray Farmer on Sunday, Haslam announced that Sashi Brown, the team’s general counsel, had been promoted to executive director of football operations and given full control of the roster.

The hirings of Brown and DePodesta indicate the Browns will rely heavily on analytics as they remake the roster. The team is expected to begin interviewing coaching candidates this week.
