Buffalo Bills receiver Marquise Goodwin advanced to Sunday's finals in the long jump,
placing 12th in Saturday's preliminary round at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials in an event where only 12 athletes move on.
Goodwin said he was sloppy and feeling a little rusty while messing up his first two jumps of the day, but isn't at all worried about finishing in the top three in the finals to qualify for Rio.

Nista od toga, fail. Negde ranije kad sam citao imao je kao najbolji rezultat sezone u svetu 8.45m, sad na trials prva dva 8.58 i 8.59

, a za trece mesto Claye bronzani iz Londona i jos jedan skakali isto 8.42, ipak Claye zbog 2. skoka ide. Inace sad proverih na poslednje dve Olimpijade 8.30m bilo dovoljno za zlato, tek od Atine unazad idu bolji rezulati i tu oko i preko 8.50.

Ajmo Billsi nazad na prvu stranu.

Billsi objavili da je Tyrod Taylor pristao da ostane sa njima on a restructured contract.
Sledovalo ga je oko 15 miliona za sledecu godinu, a ne znam na koliko je pristao po novom. Ili kako ce izgledati novi ugovor.
Marcell Dareus dobija preko 16 milki za sledecu sezonu, a Jerry Hughes je tu negde oko 10. Dosta para ide samo na tu trojicu.

Pretpostavljam da je Taylor ostao jer su pala neka obecanja oko upgradea tima, posebno offensea, pa cemo videti sta ce Billsi uraditi narednih dana.

The Bills are contenders in the AFC. Buffalo beat the Jets in Week 1, then lost to the Panthers in an ugly 9–3 game in Week 2. Few would have pointed to them as playoff contenders after those two games, and even fewer would have thought they could challenge the Patriots in the AFC East. In the two weeks since then, the Bills handled the Broncos at home, and beat the Falcons on the road. Couple Buffalo’s huge win with the Patriots surprising home loss to the Panthers, and the Bills are now alone in first place atop the AFC East, with two of the best wins of any team in the division. It’s far too early to call the Bills the class of the division, especially since they won’t meet the Patriots until December, but it’s safe to say that the AFC East will be more interesting than it has been in a long time.

Ajde za prvi da kazes da nije kriv ali ostalo je kriminal (pogotovo 2. i 3.). Sta su ovi mislili da ce dobiti povlacenjem Taylora? Ima li su najbolji give/take odnos lige i na tome su prakticno i plivali. Realno Taylor nije spektakularan pocket QB ali i ne mora da bude da bi napad funkcionisao.

Tejlor je sigurno top 32 QB lige. Nije mi jasan potez trenera. Ako je mislio malo da ga trgne i da mu do znanja da mu mesto startera nije zagarantovano, lepo se prešao.
