Bill Belichick is a genius?

(1/5) > >>

Polux:
Veliki sam postovalac trenerskog genija Bill-a Belichick-a.

O njemu i njegovoj odbrani sam vec pisao
http://www.endzone.rs/extrapoint/index.php?topic=387.0

2000: Drafting Tom Brady with the 199th pick

2003: Giving up points — to get more in return – Flash back to November 2003. The Broncos are up 24-23 on the Patriots with 2 minutes 51 seconds left in the game. The Pats are in the perilous position of fourth-and-10 from their own 1-yard line … so he ordered his long snapper to air one over his punter’s head, giving the Broncos two points on the safety and possession … and Brady had over two minutes to come back and score the winning touchdown.

2008: Waging the information war — even with the injury report – Belichick listed Brady on the Patriots’ injury report for three years straight. During that time, Brady played 127 straight games.

2008: Showcasing talent, then trading it away — Matt Cassell stepped in as the starter that season, passing for over 3,500 yards, 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Belichick promptly traded him away to the Chiefs for a second-round pick. Five years later, Belichick used another Brady backup as trade bait: Ryan Mallett was sent to the Houston Texans for a late-round draft choice.

2012: Embracing the no-huddle offense

2013: Coaching his players on how to deal with media — Take it from former Patriots lineman Ross Tucker: “I spent seven years in the NFL with five different teams, and I had never had a coach spend as much time talking about the media [as Belichick], and there was no close second.”

2013: Using the environment – Late in the 2013 season, the Patriots were hosting the Denver Broncos. The game went into overtime.  The Pats won the toss. … Instead of taking the ball, Belichick took the wind. It worked.

2014: Not giving away any information — When reporters asked him about the team’s perceived weaknesses, he said some version of “We’re on to Cincinnati” five times in a row.

2015: Using defense-destroying formations — For three plays, Belichick’s offense set up with only four offensive linemen and a wide receiver lined up in the traditional left-tackle spot.

Da dodamo i sledece:

•   Keeping a fourth quarterback on the roster because he showed potential, and turning him into Tom Brady.
•   CallingMike Vrabel, who was languishing on the bench in Pittsburgh 0:01 into the start of free agency and signing him.
•   Making a 100-catch Pro Bowler and Patriots Hall of Famer out of an eighth-round draft pick named Troy Brown.
•   Going for it on the final drive of the Super Bowl against the Rams when the whole world said he should play of overtime.
•   Trading Drew Bledsoe to a divisional rival and getting a first-round pick out of it.
•   Cutting Lawyer Milloy five days before the season and going 34-4 over the next two years with two championships.
•   Turning Stephen Neal, a wrestler who’d never played college football, into a 10-year NFL guard.
•   Using Vrabel as a tight end who finished his career with 10 receptions and 10 touchdowns.
•   Getting 1,600 yards out of Corey Dillon when the rest of the NFL treated him like he was radioactive.
•   Regularly dismantling Peyton Manning.
•   Making the deals for Randy Moss and Wes Welker that cost the Patriots almost nothing.
•   Drafting Julian Edelman, a career QB, in the seventh round and making him into a 100-catch/1,000-yard receiver and the best punt returner of all time.
•   At various times having Brown and Edelman practice at defensive back in case of emergency, only to see that emergency come up. (Brown ended up with three career interceptions.)
•   Drafting Rob Gronkowski in the second round and inventing the two-tight end offense.
•   Losing his best tight end, top two running backs, middle linebacker, most important defensive lineman and various other key players and taking his team to the 2013 AFC championship game.
•   Getting Darrelle Revis from Tampa Bay not only without giving up anything to get him, but getting the toughest negotiator in pro football to take a pay cut.

Nakon utakmice trener Ravensa John Harbaugh se izjasnio: " It was clearly deception. "
Dok je BB izjavio: "We had six eligible receivers on the field, but only five were eligible." Cao zdravo  :D

U tom napadu su Patriote postigle TD i preokrenule situaciju u svoju korist.

Kako je to izgledalo na terenu.

NEP je odigrao ovu akciju tri puta, i svaki put osvojio first down.

Sta reci, osim - jebeno genijalno  :worthy:

Reignman:
