« on: January 19, 2025, 03:19:23 am »Ubacivanje osamnaeste utakmice plus dodatnog bye weeka se ne uklapa u matematiku ako žele da se SB vikend poklopi sa tim predsedničkim danom, zato što im trebaju dva vikenda a imaju samo jedan. Ne mogu ni da počnu sezonu ranije zato što žele da počnu sezonu na labor day.
Možda ukinu nedelju pauze za SB?

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac believes “in all likelihood” Justin Fields will be the Steelers’ starting QB in 2025.
Head coach Mike Tomlin was non-committal on their quarterback situation days after their playoff loss to the Ravens and will likely dance around the issue until we get closer to free agency. That said, Dulac is of the opinion that Fields could be the QB1 next season due to his age, and the success he enjoyed during his six games as a starter this season. Fields posted a 4-2 record as the Steelers’ starter, and threw for 1,106-5-1 while completing a career-high 65.8 percent of his passes. On the flip side, Dulac also points out that Russell Wilson “was brought here to end the playoff victory drought, and it didn’t happen,” and a reason to move on from the 36-year-old vet. There’s a lot to play out in the coming weeks/months, but the Steelers’ re-upping with Fields this offseason rather than overspending on an underwhelming QB market would make a lot of sense for both sides.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Bears “recently called the Steelers” to inquire about a potential trade for head coach Mike Tomlin.
Schefter also reports that “at least one team besides the Bears checked into the idea that it could somehow try to trade for Tomlin.” Any trade for Tomlin would require his approval, as the veteran head coach currently has a no-trade clause baked into his current deal. It’s a bold move by the Bears, but one that clearly shows their desire to nail their next head coaching hire after cycling through four different head coaches and interim head coach Thomas Brown since 2013. When asked earlier about the possibility of approving a trade to another team, Tomlin simply said, “Save your time.” We also know the Steelers don’t have any plans to move on from Tomlin, as previously reported by Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Barring an unexpected turn of events, Tomlin, who signed a three-year extension last offseason, will remain with the Steelers in 2025.

Da li bi bio isto toliko ljubomoran kada bi u Dynasty ligi postojao auto-draft?
Auto-draft bira krševe na svim DEF pozicijama! To najbolje znaju oni koji igraju DEF ligu, ko se ne pojavi na draftu ili ne odradi pre-rank ugasio je za celu sezonu, prava stvar.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the “logical step” is for the league to move to an 18-game regular season.
Goodell continues to push for an 18-game season while pointing out that the league would shorten the preseason from three games to two to keep the overall length of the season the same. A move to an 18-game season won’t come without its challenges, as player safety continues to be at the forefront of these discussions, but Goodell also says the number of injuries did not increase when the league made the leap from 16 games to 17 games in 2021. Any approval for this change would require approval from the NFL Players Association. It’s anybody’s guess as to how quickly this change could come, but it wouldn’t be surprising if this idea was discussed more thoroughly after the season.

Kititi se tuđim perjem...izgleda da je čovek ovo usvojio kao strategiju kao ideologiju vrednu pohvale?
2021 i 2024 su neuporedive. Tada si bio bolestan i fizički sprečen pa je Maxim uleteo da prijateljski pripomogne. Sada si planski izbegao draft i planski išao na to da Maxim draftuje iako si zdrav i mogao si sam da biraš bez obzira na lokaciju. Maximovi pikovi 4,5 i 6 runde su bile ključne da izdignu tim na viši nivo.
