Under this kind of deal, Dillon gets a signing bonus of $167,000 and his base salary can’t be over $2.575M. #Packers get a huge cap benefit. He would count about $1.1M against the cap. No-risk deal #Packers can get out of at anytime without cap ramifications.

"Aaron Jones contract details, per source:

Original GB deal: $11M base, $1M incentives

Final GB offer: Little less than $4M base, $2M incentives

Vikings: $6M base, $1M incentives

Jones wanted to retire in GB but didn't want to take another hometown discount of that magnitude."

Gutekunst on Feb. 1 when asked about bringing Aaron Jones back in 2024: "Yeah, absolutely. We’d love to Aaron back. We’re still putting all those things together as far as how we’re going to move forward. But he was such a difference-maker when he was out there this year. ...

"The way our offense was able to move. He changed a lot of the way we operated when he was in there and when he was healthy. I think for us, it’s finding a way to keep him out there and keep him healthy. ...

"Not only on the field but -- and you guys know this, you guys have been around here -- he’s such an influential leader in our locker room. He’s just really the heartbeat of our team. That’s certainly the anticipation, that he’ll be back."

To be clear, the #Packers are releasing LT David Bakhtiari. This is not a retirement. Bakhtiari has indicated to people he intends on playing this season. He becomes a free agent immediately. #Packers gain $20.95M in cap space but Bakhtiari will still count $19.06M in dead money.

A lot of emotion in this. I just want to say THANK YOU Green Bay. Thank you for the last 11 years. It’s been a hell of a run. I always wanted to raise a Lombardi on Lombardi avenue, but I will never complain. I gave it my all. I always gave it my best no matter the circumstance and to me, that truly was enough. My 32 year old self is so damn proud of that 21 year old with no facial hair, bushy tail kid that just wanted to do his best. I’m so proud of you. For whatever happens next, I look forward to it. To the city and fans all across the world, I just want to say thank you. To the entire organization, Thank you. To entire coaching staffs, Thank you. To the entire support staff, Thank you. To my wife and daughter (Frankie and Felix): I hope you are proud. To my family (Debbie, Karl, Eric, Andrew, and Danielle): I hope I represented our name with pride these past 11 years in Green Bay. I cannot thank everyone, so I hope this post will suffice. Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile, because it happened.

Love 69

After a career year with the #Eagles, Swift heads to Chicago to be a big piece in Shane Waldron’s offense.

Listed him as one of the FAs the #Packers want to re-sign. CB/KOR Keisean Nixon is the priority.

Per sources, Packers have re-signed TE Tyler Davis, the backup/special teams ace who tore his ACL in the preseason last year. He’s expected to be ready for the start of training camp, if not sooner.

Packers ST coordinator Rich Bisaccia and coach Matt LaFleur love Davis.

After the 49ers and DL Arik Armstead attempted but failed to work out a restructured contract, San Francisco now plans to release him, per source. Armstead now is expected to become a free agent. The two sides came close to a deal, but Armstead, as @Schultz_Report reported, wanted to see what his market is.
